The sad thing is why we even need to ask the question and why this iconic specie Africa’s elephant requires saving. We stopped the car to watch the herd. About six of them in the trees feeding. With windows rolled down we enjoyed the scene, these huge beasts pushing through the trees. A large bull was moving closer, but didn’t seem concerned about us until… my father started the engine. It started as an idea to get organized and ended up as a collaborative campaign, a Spotlight on Species. Photos, stories, videos, information to touch hearts and change minds! Remember that first kitten or puppy? You fell in love with it because you could touch it, feel it, play with it… and, it needed you to care for it… feed it and protect it. Starting in July we’re spearheading a yearlong social media campaign to focus on targeted wildlife species for an entire month. The objective is to get as close as we can to giving people that ‘puppy experience.’…
