Primates are not vermin, Karin Saks rescues baboons and vervet monkeys in the Crags South Africa.
Great news for Karin and her Primates
We love good news! Karin has been rescuing and rehabing primates (baboons and vervets) for many years. She tells me that just when she has needed help the most, the right people show up to assist.
Her most recent partners to help in her rescue and education work with primates are Debbie and Steve. Here is what she has to tell us about them:
Debbie and Steve Join Karin to Save Primates
Steve and Debbie Greensmith have been married for twenty years and share an exceptional passion for primates, so much so that they decided to give up their secure jobs as supervisor and store manager just over four years ago and dedicate their lives to helping primates in Africa.
Working with baboons, vervet monkeys, mona monkeys, tamarinds, marmosets and squirrel monkeys in various positions in many of South Africa’s primate rehabilitation and sanctuary centres, they are presently working at the Darwin Primate Group in the Garden Route partnering Karin Saks in her efforts to save vervet monkeys and baboons in the Western Cape.
We look forward to hearing more about their work together to save the primates of South Africa.
