VIDEO: Gorgeous Lions, some facts, their troubles and a Hero

Jun 16, 2021 · by Wildlife Margrit · In: Animal Poaching, Lions Tagged: Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park, lion rangers, Marnus Roodbol, NikelaWildlife videos, wildlife ranger

Of our many wild animal encounters, this is our favorite wild lion video.  Africa just wouldn’t be Africa without its gorgeous lions. This big cat with its huge paws and claws, striking mane and bone chilling roar is both revered and feared. It is an honor to help Marnus and his Rangers protect and rescue wild Lions. These 53 square miles of protected area are home to elephants, buffalo, all sorts of plains game and even a few leopards. Elephants are no dummies. They find vegetable crops and banana plants mighty tasty. With no fences to keep the farmlands and the…

The rescued pangolin mum appeared average sized, when he saw the bulge in the mealie meal sack. But as Moses reached in… there, wrapped up with her was a baby pangolin also. Tears welled up in his eyes as he gently removed them both. Mum remained tightly curled up in a ball, desperately trying to save her tiny pangolin. After dozens of pangolin rescues Moses had never seen a baby pangolin. A Few Facts About Pangolin The endangered pangolin is a small scaly ant eaters whose tongue starts in it’s stomach.
