World Rhino Day this September 22, 2011. Help celebrate the Rhino in Africa with Nikela Rhino Rescue.

Visit any rhino related site and that’s the question “What You Doing to Celebrate World Rhino Day?” That is, of course right behind the most crucial topic at hand, putting an end to the senseless daily poaching.

There are so many ways to celebrate this magnificent beast.

Collecting and sharing the most stunning rhino photographs, hosting a rhino walk or run, sharing video footage depicting rhino, and so on.

At Nikela we’ve decided to look at how the rhino has infiltrated our daily lives via icons, symbols and mascots.  We’re going to invite you to grab your SMART phone and think Harry Potter as you go in search of representations of the rhino. You’ll see images on trucks, boxes, jerseys, and signs to name a few.

Right now to make it fun for you to participate we’re looking for those who use the rhino as a logo or icon to contribute a prize to the contest.  Know anyone? Care for a particular prize? Give us a shout.
